Matthew P. Brown is an associate attorney specializing in real estate transactions and business counseling.
Mr. Brown's real estate experience includes acquisition and disposition of more than $1 billion in real property, leasing, development, financing, 1031 exchanges and title matters. His real estate experience includes matters involving a varity of asset classes, such as hotels, retail, industrial, offices, multifamily, manufactured housing communities, master planned communities, land and mixed-use projects. Mr. Brown also counsels clients on a wide range of business matters, including organizational structuring, entity formation, governance, management, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Mr. Brown attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he earned his juris doctorate and the Dean's Certificate of outstanding service to the law center community. He received his undergraduate education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, graduating with a batchelor's degree in business administration.
Mr. Brown is admitted to practice before the United State District Court for the Eastern District of California. He is a menber of the State Bar of California, San Joaquin County Bar Association, Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Urban Land Institute.
